Nadam Foundation is a registered organization under the Trust Act which is registered on 24-05-2010.
The Organization had celebrated the Father’s day on 20-06-2010 and emphasised the importance of parenthood. The lst anniversary of the organization was celebrated by honouring aged house wives’ for their silent, secret revolutionary services to the society.
The Organization had ‘ conducted eye camps with the support of ‘Ahalya Foundation’ and free heart camps with the support of the organization ‘Healthy Heart for all’. It also conducted manV Anti- Drugs seminars with the support of the Excise department of the state of Kerala. The organization had co-operated with the free Artificial Limb donation camp conducted by the Lions club of Palakkad. It celebrated the Human Rights day by participating and co-operating with the activities of the social welfare department of the state. The Honourable M.P. of Palakkad Mr. M. B. Rajesh has inaugurated the function. Every year the organization used to supply free umbrellas to the children in the Primary educational Institutions. In the event of Gandhi Jayanthi and on behalf of its environmental activities the foundation used to clean the Primary Health centers. The foundation used to celebrate International women’s day by conducting seminars. The foundation is promoting eye donations and creating it’s awareness. It has already handed over 250 eye donation Pledge forms to the District Medical Officer, Palakkad.
The foundation is fighting against the child labour. It has already conducted certain awareness programs. On the eve of International old aged day the foundation Honoured the aged member who attained 88 years by presenting a memento at the Pension Bhavan Kollengode. The foundation has also formed a small group of Blood donors and it has got opportunity to serve some people also.
The main activity of the foundation is to promote the social obligations of the public to the society. The organization used to honour the persons who saved the lives in the accident, who shows honesty and those who donates their organs. It used to send small gifts and an admiring letter to the concerned person and thus encourages their social commitment. One such gift was sent -to Mr. Kochouseph Chittilappilly, the Managing Director of V. Guard Industries Ltd. for which he sent a reply of gratitude. The foundation had already supplied free gloves to the workers in the Chittur — Tattamangalam Municipality who are engaged in the clearing activities.
